Park Slope's brownstones and Gowanus's old warehouses sit only a few blocks apart, and 222 16th Street refuses to pick a side. The facade carries terracotta stucco alongside handmade brick with real weight to it, one borrowed from the townhouses, the other from the neighborhood's industrial memory. INPUT designed the facade and interiors both, so the building reads as one decision rather than two arguments stapled together. At 32 units across five stories, it sits closer in scale to a large townhouse than a development.
